Our Tile & Grout Cleaning Process
1. Pre-inspection. Before each job, we like to walk through and inspect with our customers. During this time, we will point out any potential problem areas and give honest recommendations based on what we find.
2. Vacuum. Before getting the floors wet with anything, we thoroughly vacuum to ensure we have as much dirt cleaned up as possible.
3. Pre-Spray. At this cleaning stage, we apply an alkaline pre-spray, mopping it to ensure we do not splash the solution anywhere other than the floors. We allow this to dwell for a time, allowing that chemistry to work.
4. Extraction. We use several different tile and grout cleaning tools. Pictured to the right is our favorite. It has a spinner inside and uses high-pressured, hot water to remove dirt and grime that has worked its way into the grout. It then vacuums up the water, leaving clean tile and grout behind.
5. Dry. We try to leave our freshly cleaned tile floors as dry as possible before we leave for two reasons. First, wet floors are an increased slip hazard, and we want everyone to be safe in your home. Second, we want to make sure the tile dries nicely without water spots.
6. Post-Inspection. The final step is to walk through the customer, ensuring they are satisfied.
