How long does it take for my carpets to dry after having it steam cleaned?
Carpet takes anywhere from 2-6 hours to dry after we have completed steam cleaning. Factors like home temperatures, urine treatment, type of carpet and padding all have a factor in dry time.
What is the difference between steam cleaning and shampooing?
Shampooing = Using detergent scrubbed into carpet fibers. and then vacuuming as much up as possible. It often leaves residue behind, which attract dirt faster, and take longer to dry.

Steam Cleaning (Hot Water Extraction) = Using hot water and powerful extraction to remove dirt, allergens, and bacteria. We do use a pre-spray, but no residues are left behind and it leads to faster drying times.
Do you move furniture?
Depending on the situation, we may help with small pieces like chairs. However, when the carpet is wet, it's best to let it dry fully for a few hours before moving anything back. This means we won’t be able to assist with putting it back in place.

But don't worry! Dust and dirt don't usually settle under those dressers and chairs, unless it was already dirty carpet when they were placed there. Those high-traffic areas where the grime likes to gather is where most end up wanting us to focus our our attention on during cleaning.
